The founder Hilde Reinl
 
 
This foundation, established by Hilde Reinl, is a hommage to the composer Franz Josef Reinl (1903-77) and the harpist Hermann Ertl, son of the founder.

Both artists worked in Germany after World War II.
 The Franz Josef Reinl foundation annualy awards 3 sponsor-prizes to composers and harpists. They are selected by a jury of experts.

The sponsored artists have the opportunity to present the respective composition, respectively their skills as harpists in the course of a public event.
